Balanced Multistage Pressure Reducing Regulating Valve

Balanced Multistage Pressure Reducing Regulating Valve

The balanced multistage pressure reducing regulating valve adopts sleeve guiding and a pressure-balanced plug. This series is mainly used in applications with large pressure differences where flashing and cavitation occur.

Based on the parameters, multiple different pressure-reducing cages are designed and assembled to form a multistage pressure-reducing trim. The cages, designed according to specific process conditions, ensure the elimination of flashing and cavitation in the valve. The medium begins throttling upon contact with the first cage. Through multiple throttling stages, the high inlet pressure is gradually reduced. This effectively ensures that the medium’s pressure remains above its vapor pressure throughout its flow path within the valve, thus eliminating the possibility of flashing and cavitation and extending the service life of the regulating valve in severe applications.
