Ultra-Low Temperature Valves (Down to -196°C)
Kaike was among the first domestic manufacturers to master ultra-low temperature technology. In 2003, our cryogenic gate valves were listed as a “National Torch Program Project” and earned the “Quality Excellence, Import Substitution” commendation from Sinopec Shanghai.
Technical Milestones:
2009: Published the industry-standard paper “Helium Detection Methods for Low-Leakage Cryogenic Valves” in collaboration with Shanghai Special Equipment Supervision and Technology Research Institute
2015: Ultra-low temperature hard-sealed gate valve certified as a Shanghai High-Tech Achievement Transformation Project
CNAS-accredited cryogenic testing capabilities, including liquid nitrogen storage tanks, cryogenic impact testers, and helium mass spectrometers
Key Specifications: Size up to 48 inches, pressure up to Class 1500, temperature down to -196°C
Applications: LNG plants and storage facilities, ethylene plants, and other cryogenic service conditions
High-Temperature / High-Pressure Hydrogen Service Valves
Kaike has developed specialized valves for high-temperature, high-pressure hydrogen and hydrogen-containing hydrocarbon service — one of the most challenging conditions in modern refining and petrochemical processing.
Key Specifications: Temperatures up to +650°C, pressures up to Class 2500
Applications: Hydrocracking units, hydrogenation plants, ethylene cracking furnaces
Materials: Alloys compatible with hydrogen embrittlement resistance, including F347H and other high-temperature stainless steels
Cracking / Pyrolysis Valves (Ethylene Furnace Service)
Our cracking valves are designed for the most demanding service in ethylene plants: furnace outlet isolation and decoking lines. These are parallel double-disc gate valves engineered for high-temperature hydrocarbon gas service.
Typical Operating Conditions:
Design Temperature: Up to 650°C
Design Pressure: Up to 4.5 MPa
Media: High-temperature cracked gas
Seat: Metal-seated, bidirectional
Key Features:
Parallel double-disc design with metal-to-metal sealing
Extended bonnet for stem temperature protection
Decoking capability to prevent coke build-up and sticking
Hard-faced sealing surfaces (Stellite) for abrasion resistance
Our cracking valves are widely used in major domestic ethylene projects and have been recognized as a reliable import substitution solution for this critical application, replacing previously imported alternatives with comparable performance and superior local support.
